Welcome everyone to my first attempt at blogging. The fall has just started and when the leaves turn to mush, I turn creative and ambitious. I've been trying to get this thing to work for the past couple of days, but I don't believe that mozilla firefox likes this program all that much. I'm going to try to keep posts informative and hopefully amusing.

Like Today.
Today was another ordinary day, started out with not being able to fall asleep until 6 am, trying to wake up at 10, failing miserably, and then not fully mobilizing until 2 pm. However, my regular breakfast/lunch energized me and got me moving. I sold a few books on half.com and went to get a haircut before my big interview next week. It was after all this, that the day turned interesting.

I recently had a discussion with Bert about the benefits of Whole Foods, not just based on feeding oneself nutritionally, but also that's where are the hot women are these days. It is my belief that you'll find an attractive, intelligent, interesting woman at any Whole Foods that you visit. You may have to wait 5 hours for her to show up, but eventually, one will be there.

It was with this motivation in mind, that I parked at the Whole Foods in Ridgewood while getting my haircut. On the way back after that mind-numbing experience, I was thirsty, so I headed into the Wholefoods for a) sustinence and b) eye-candy. It was there that both needs were fulfilled by POM. Have you seen the bottle for this drink? It has the shape of a woman! So, I don't know if it was marketing or just the fact that I have never tried it before, I bought it. And it was ok. Not my favorite drink in the world, but decent.

With POM in hand, I decided to go to B&N to go read the magazines and see what new old books there were. However, on the way there, I got a) hungry and b) dying for adventure. So I decided to drop into the local Blood Bank and make a deposit. It took about an hour, but while they drained me of about a liter of precious fluid, they also fed me tasty entenmann's style crumbcake doughnuts and poundcake. Another beneficial side-affect of donating blood is that the loss of plasma, platelets, and red blood cells actually tuckers you out. What could be better than that? I think they got a bit pissed at me when I asked for fifths on the cake as well as pondered outloud how do they count up all the hemoglobins of blood from the machine that pricks your finger.

Satiated, and wearing my "Please be nice to me, I gave blood today" sticker across my chest, I went to B&N for an hours of reading enjoyment.
